#11 Debrecen: All the Good Things in Missionary Work

We had another blessed week full of miracles, lots of time for finding, all the good things in missionary work.

On Wednesday we had a lesson with one of our investigators named Kem, he is an older gentleman from England. Kem is super lonely so when we teach him we stay longer and just talk to him. After that we had about an hour left of the day before dinner and decided to just finish tracting the rest of his street. We had an older woman set up to meet with us later, a thirty something man said we could come back, but then we had a man named Csaba let us in. Getting a let in is super rare. We taught the restoration lesson and shared the Book of Mormon with him and his wife (Erika), and father. They were interested and we set up another time to return. They also have 2 teen aged children. It was a great experience. I love finding families, it's why I love tracking. We also got a member referral this week from one of the families in the branch. His name is Máttyás, he is boyfriend of the Balogh families oldest daughter. We had a wonderful light the world lesson with him and the Balogh family and he also came to church this week, and has apparently been going to institute for the last couple week with his girlfriend. We look forward to seeing where all these new opportunities will go.

We are still working on regularly meeting with our other investigators, but it gets difficult with the holidays, exams, and people standing us up, but you have more time to find people when people stand you up or cancel on you.

This week I gave a talk in Sacrament meeting about Christmas and "Light the World." While preparing for it I kept thinking about how amazing it is that it is a world wide celebration, it's like a huge testimony that Christ really was born. I read some prophecies from the Book of Mormon about his coming, and then the testimony of our prophet Joseph Smith from this dispensation from D&C 76. I love the "Light the World" initiative because it allows us to display and act on our testimonies that Christ was born, and lives today, I love Christmas, and my Savior.

Sok Szeretettel, Morgan elder.
