#2 Pest II: 21 Day Book of Mormon Challenge

Long time no see... It feels like it's been only four days since I have sent you an email... oh, yeah, that's because it's only been 4 days since my last email. So, what I have I been up to in the last few days? Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday was eaten up by lots of Zone Leader Administrative stuff, so it was nice to get to regular missionary work on Thursday, except for the three hours we spent at the hevital to register in our new area, which was a fail because we decided to stop waiting after three hours and we'll have to go back next week. Friday was district meeting, and Saturday we did our weekly call with the mission president as zone leaders. We talked about the new 21 day Book of Mormon reading challenge the Church is doing for Europe. It officially starts the 1st of September, but we've gotten a head start. #8 Pest: A New Mission

This week a new Mission President landed on the blessed native soil of Hungary. At 7:20 a.m. on June 29th an airplane debarked out of an airport in Romania caring our new Mission President and his wife, Elder and Sister Hettinger. July 1st is the first official day that the Romanian and Hungarian missions combine, so there was a little interim period, but this week we got a new administration of our mission and a whole new mission!! So BIG stuff. This week was a blur, but it's odd because honestly it was a slow week for teaching and we were dropped by one of our investigators, and have another that we will probably have to drop verily soon; but after hours and hours of streeting we found tons of potential investigators. This week we picked up a new investigator who is a Jehovah's Witness, so that's pretty exciting, I've never taught a Jehovah's Witness on my mission. #1 Kecskemét: The City of Goat

I'm alive! So so much has happened! The rest of the MTC was good, I don't remember much of what happened. Monday morning we rode the train up to the airport in Salt Lake. We were supposed to leave at 3 for Amsterdam but the plane was broken so we had to wait around for them to get another plane, it took 5 hours. While we waited we ate at Cafe Rio and we talked to some people in the airport about missionaries and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We talked with a man form India, a woman from Hungary, a woman from Romania, and a man from Holland. We also gave out some pass along cards.  The flight to Amsterdam was very long and I didn't sleep well, not a surprise. We landed in the Amsterdam airport which is huge and very cool. We had to move quickly to catch our flight to Budapest. We flew to Budapest on KLM, which is a dutch airline. We arrived in Budapest at about 4 pm and the sun was already setting.
